Thanks for helping raise cash

MAY I, through the columns of your newspaper, take the opportunity on behalf of myself, daughters Lauren and Anna and all the family, thank everyone who contributed to the recent charity football match between Dukla Pumpherston and a Hibs Veterans’ Select at Hermand Park,West Calder.

The event was in memory of my late wife Lorraine "Tich" MacDonald who died in May of this year.

We raised a total of £1350 for further research into the causes and treatment of pulmonary hypertension and has been forwarded to the Scottish Pulmonary Vascular Unit based within the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Clydebank.
