Nov 20 2008 West Lothian Courier
HAVE just read in the West Lothian Bulletin that West Lothian is one of the happiest places to live.
Well, I suggest they come to Uphall Station where they will find a lot of unhappy faces as a result of our bus service.
My husband and myself have stood over 40 minutes waiting for buses and we are both aged over 82.
I have heard that numerous people have the same complaint.
Surely the council must take some action to create a better bus service for us.
I know that several people have complained to FirstBus but they seem to be falling on deaf ears.
We, in Uphall Station, feel we are the forgotten village. Let’s hope this letter will stir the council into some action.
Mrs Emma Murphy,
Houston Terrace,
Uphall Station,
