WHAT do the ruling political grouping on West Lothian Council have against bus and rail travellers?

They initially indicated their wish to abolish rail subsidies for pensioners and disabled people, now they have stopped publishing travel timetables.

Many groups and individuals rely on timetables to plan their journeys, and they are an invaluable aid.

The replacement is to be a phone number, which will not be Freephone.

If the information line is similar to some utility companies operating at present, you will have a long wait for a journey.
