Dec 18 2008 West Lothian Courier
I WAS grateful to receive an invitation to attend the MS awareness event in the Scottish Parliament which your correspondent Mr Ferry mentioned in his letter to last week’s Courier.
However, regrettably I was unable to attend as I was attending the West Lothian Council Stellar Awards for our school pupils which took place on the same evening.
As an MSP I am fortunate to receive many invitations from organisations both national and local and whilst I try to attend as many as I can, the reality is that events can often clash and it is not possible to attend them all.
I am very interested in the work of the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland and will be happy to discuss how I can assist their work in the Scottish Parliament.
I am also keen to hear from those experiencing MS and their families and carers in my Linlithgow Constituency, so I can understand their issues the and concerns they may have
