I WOULD like to know who it was who installed the semi-mountainous so-called road calmers at the entrance to Armadale on the Bathgate side.
Perhaps those who were responsible will know by now that calmness is not felt by anyone in cars having to climb them.
West Lothian Council’s roads authority should give free travel-sickness pills to all bus travellers along this route.
They should also provide a pain-free alternative road for all ambulance passengers who are subjected to these gruesome bumps.
Perhaps the people responsible have a special grudge against Armadale, since they have succeeded in making the entrance to the town the most unpopular in Scotland, probably.
How about they swallow their pride and admit that they got it wrong, and flatten them.
MC Duncan.
