More honour among thieves than there is among MPs in Parliament

TAM Dalyell registered a claim for £18,000 for a bookcase to hold all the books and papers he had collected over the years as an MP for West Lothian – just two months before he retired.

Can we all claim £18k to purchase a large cupboard to hold all the detritus that we collect though our working lives?

The story of Oliver springs to mind with Fagan and his Den of Thieves. Perhaps there is more honour among thieves, than in Parliament at the moment.
