A FRIENDLY dog is appealing for a new home with a loving family.
Staff at Dogs Trust in West Calder are hoping to find a new home for eight-year-old Lurcher, Katie.
She is very friendly towards people, loves attention, adores cuddles and loves to lounge on a comfy sofa or to sunbathe.
Katie is house-trained, happy home alone, loves to travel in the car and absolutely loves her walks.
Like many sight-hounds, she has the naughty habit of stealing food and she can be a little protective of it.
For this reason she needs owners with no children and experience of big dogs.
However, Katie is not good with cats and is walked with a muzzle on to stop her chasing them.
She is perfectly happy with this and it’s something her new owners would need to be willing to do.
Katie loves to play games and is a lively dog who has been a great family pet all of her life.
She is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice.
If you can offer Katie or any of the other 60 dogs at the centre a home, please contact the centre direct on 01506 873459.
All dogs detailed may have had several homes and their history refers to none specifically.
l Dogs Trust always have good homes for puppies. If you need help with a litter please call the centre.
