EH1 DJ Heats come to a town near you

Colours and Scottish & Universal Newspapers have launched a search to discover the DJ of the future.

We have been inundated with entries after asking readers to send in their performance CDs - and now the best unknown DJs have now been chosen for six local heats.

The most talented DJ will get to perform at EH1 Music Festival, Ingliston, on August 15, 2009, on the same bill as legends such as Carl Cox, Danny Howells, Above & Beyond, Sander Kleinenberg and Frankie Knuckles to name just a few!

The winner will also receive VIP tickets to EH1 for 10 friends and VIP clubbing for one year to Colours events for them and three friends.

Not only that, but to help develop their skills, a fantastic 10-day production course courtesy of 23rd Prect. Records, Glasgow, with James Allan from Public Domain, and headphones and other DJ goodies courtesy of Rub a Dub, Glasgow, will also be up for grabs for the winner.

Runners-up will receive VIP tickets to EH1 and the final will take place on July 20 at a location still to be confirmed.
