Plus for little Citroen

ADDING a plus has made a big difference to the smallest car from Citroen.

In its latest VTR+ guise, the C1 model gets a fresh trim treatment for 2010 in the form of leather and Alcantara upholstery, leather finish for the steering wheel and gear knob and shiny black interior touches.

But VTR+ models also come equipped with enhanced safety features as standard, including front lateral airbags and Isofix child seat anchorage points on the rear seats.

Citroen has also announced that production of the C1 Splash Special Edition is to continue.for the time being. With standard equipment including air conditioning, remote central locking and front electric windows, the Splash is a popular choice in the showrooms.

C1 prices start at £8,495 and rise to £10,645 for the 1.4-litre VTR+ five-door versions.
