Fire at Amcor Flexibles, Brucefield Industrial Estate

AROUND 70 firefighters tackled a major blaze at Amcor Flexibles at Brucefield Industrial Estate in Livingston. One employee was taken to St John's Hospital to be treated for burns to his arm while nearby factories were evacuated. The fire, which started at around midday on Thursday, is believed to have started on a production line of the packaging company. For a full report see this week's West Lothian Courier.
