Trump resort decision 'in a month'

A decision on US tycoon Donald Trump's controversial golf resort plans will be made within 28 days, the Scottish Government said.

Finance secretary John Swinney confirmed he had been sent the official report from a public local inquiry into the planned development on the Aberdeenshire coast.

The document, which has not been made public, contains a recommendation either to approve or turn down the New York developer's estimated £1 billion proposal.
