Care centre damaged by vandals

Vandals caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to a centre which provides care for autistic people.

The thugs climbed on to the roof of the Edinburgh building, which was recently refurbished, and ripped off covers of extractor fans above an industrial kitchen.

Bosses at charity Autism Initiative, which runs the centre, said they believe the damage happened over the weekend.
