Pensioner dies in flat fire
An elderly woman died in a flat fire early, police said.
Firefighters found the body of the 85-year-old pensioner after tackling a blaze at the flat in Echline Drive, South Queensferry.
The alarm was raised at around 3.30am, Lothian and Borders Police said.
