Murder bid probe after boy stabbed

An attempted murder inquiry has been launched after a teenager was stabbed.

The 17-year-old was was walking along a street in Glasgow's Castlemilk area at about 9pm on Friday night when another man approached and assaulted him with a bladed instrument.

Following the attack the suspect made off.
