Council switches to Skoda use

A cost-cutting council is to transport civic leaders in a chauffeur-driven Skoda.

Aberdeenshire Council switched to a Skoda Superb Greenline for its new official civic car to save money and protect the environment.

The decision was praised by politicians, who said other councils using more expensive models should follow Aberdeenshire's lead.
