Cabinet in Scotland after 88 years

Prime Minister Gordon Brown has brought the UK Cabinet to Scotland for the first time since 1921.

A special meeting of the Cabinet, which will be focused on the economy, is taking place in Glasgow on Thursday afternoon.

During the visit to Scotland, Mr Brown has faced calls from First Minister Alex Salmond to reverse £500 million cuts planned for next year in Scotland's budget.
