Supermarket murder inquiry launched

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was killed in a supermarket in Aberdeen.

Officers were called to the Sainsbury's store in Berryden Road, which was closed to customers, at around 3.30am on Thursday following reports of an incident.

Grampian Police said they are following a positive line of inquiry and a man has been detained in connection with the death.
