Ford to join Scott Green Party
A councillor who almost derailed Donald Trump's plans for a £1 billion golf resort has announced he is to join the Scottish Green Party.
Martin Ford was chairman of the Aberdeenshire Council committee which originally rejected the tycoon's proposal for the complex at Balmedie in 2007.
He had the casting vote and was eventually sacked from the committee chair after fierce criticism.
