Quad biker dies after cliff plunge

A quad biker died after plunging 30ft from a cliff, the coastguard said.

A friend of the man alerted rescuers in Stornoway after he went over cliffs near Tolsta on the Isle of Lewis at around 11pm on Monday.

A helicopter crew found the man after his companion used the camera flash on his mobile phone to attract their attention.
