Sailors rescued from stricken yacht

Two Norwegians have been winched to safety by helicopter after their yacht began sinking in the North Sea.

The pair put out an urgent "pan pan" call for help at around 10.05am on Tuesday when their vessel Serenity was taking on water and had torn sails.

They got into difficulty around 80 miles east of the Shetland Islands and were drifting due to worsening weather conditions.
