Police impersonator avoids jail

A male stripogram from Aberdeen convicted of impersonating a policeman escaped a prison sentence.

Stuart Kennedy was fined £400, ordered to carry out 200 hours community service and placed on a year's probation following his conviction last month.

Kennedy, 26, drove a car fitted with a flashing light in the Peterhead area and stopped motorists in June last year.
