Drinks giant Diageo has announced a £2.02 billion profit - at the same time as campaigners headed to London in a bid to save 900 whisky jobs.
The company said it had faced a "challenging" year, in which profits dipped from £2.09 billion in 2008.
In July it announced a controversial "restructuring" programme to try to claw back £40 million a year from its Scottish whisky operations.
