Woman sentenced over dead mother

A woman who battered her mother to death and got her boyfriend to dump the body in a stream is set to be sentenced.

Lisa Brown, 22, attacked Anne Brown with a torch in her home in Ayrshire last year amid a bitter dispute with the 51-year-old.

Her boyfriend John Wilson, 25, then helped her load the body into the victim's own car and dump the weighted corpse into a nearby burn.
