Legal cap on interest rate rejected
A call by MPs for a legal cap on interest rates was rejected by the Government.
A cap would carry "significant pitfalls" and could encourage illegal lending, it said.
MPs on Westminster's Scottish Affairs Committee said they were "disappointed" at the Government's response.
