Aberdeenshire tops quality survey

People living in Aberdeenshire have the best quality of life in Scotland, a survey has claimed.

More than nine out of 10 residents there are said to be in good health, workers have relatively high incomes and almost three quarters of Aberdeenshire residents own their home.

The area also has higher than average rates for employment and school qualifications, lower than average rainfall and a slightly above average amount of sunshine.
