Woman dies after being hit by car

A woman has died after being knocked down by a car in a city centre, police said.

The woman, 32, was hit in Argyle Street, Glasgow, shortly after 11pm on Friday night.

She was taken by ambulance to the city's Western Infirmary, but died earlier on Saturday.
