Forth Bridge 'should allow buses'

Bus services should get "a fair crack of the whip" when the new Forth Bridge is created, MSPs have been told.

The Scottish Government will spend between £1.7 billion and £2.3 billion - at 2016 prices - on a 2.7km bridge for Edinburgh and Fife commuters.

The current bridge, opened 46 years ago and now deteriorating, would be used for public transport, cyclists and pedestrians.
