King Tut's celebrates 20th birthday

The iconic music venue in which rock giants Oasis were discovered has celebrated its twentieth birthday.

King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow made musical history as the place where the Manchester band were signed by Creation Records during a gig in 1993.

Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher turned up uninvited with their band and managed to secure a last-minute spot on the bill. They caught the eye of Creation boss Alan McGee and were signed up that night.
