One killed, one injured in stabbing

Police have launched a murder inquiry after a knife attack left a man dead and his brother seriously injured.

Louis Shields, 46, was killed in a disturbance at his home in Glasgow's Craigend area.

Officers were called to the flat in Cambuskenneth Place just after midnight on Thursday. Paramedics tried to save Mr Shields but he died at the scene.
