Proclaimers back crime cash project

Chart stars the Proclaimers are teaming up with Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill to support a scheme which uses cash seized from criminals for good causes.

Singing twins Craig and Charlie Reid, together with Mr MacAskill, will visit a music project that has benefited from the Scottish Government's CashBack for Communities scheme.

The initiative uses cash seized from crooks to support hundreds of youth groups around the country and the Reeltime Music project, in Newarthill, Lanarkshire, has received £23,800 thanks to the scheme.
