A petition calling for tougher measures against people who kill birds of prey has been handed to the Scottish Parliament.
More than 21,500 people signed the petition, started by the RSPB, which seeks to protect birds including golden eagles, red kites and hen harriers.
RSPB director Stuart Housden said: "The huge response we have had just shows that many, many people in Scotland, like us, are rightly appalled that birds of prey continue to be illegally killed in our countryside."
