MPs and peer deny expenses fraud

Livingston MP Jim Devine accused of expenses fraud said he would plead not guilty when he appeared in court for the first time.

He was joined by two other Labour MPs and a Tory peer in the City of Westminster magistrates' Court at about 12.15pm on Thursday.

Appearing in the dock before City of Westminster Magistrates' Court they told District Judge Timothy Workman they denied any wrongdoing.
