Small crime drop in campus scheme

Only a minority of schools with a police officer on campus saw a fall in crime, research revealed.

The Scottish Government-commissioned study looked at 11 of the 65 schools where there is a campus officer.

It found two of the 11 schools experienced a reduction in recorded crime after the campus officer was brought in.
