Bid to boost Muslim officer numbers
A new policing body has been launched to boost the number of Muslim officers in Scottish forces.
The Scottish Police Muslim Association (SPMA) has been set up to build closer ties with Muslim communities.
It follows the success of a group in the Strathclyde force area established in 2008 to challenge misconceptions about Islamic faith.
