Help for male victims of abuse

A new confidential support service for men who are the victims of domestic abuse is due to be announced by the Scottish Government.

Communities Minister Alex Neil will reveal plans for a new men-only service, where male victims can get advice and support.

Figures from last year showed that about 14% of domestic abuse cases recorded by police were of a woman abusing a man.
