Bid to end rail dispute deadlock

Talks aimed at ending the deadlock in a rail dispute are being held.

Union leaders will meet Transport Minister Stewart Stevenson in a bid to resolve the ongoing row over a new ScotRail service.

RMT members have staged three 24-hour walk-outs in protest at the operator's plans to run a driver-only train on the Airdrie to Bathgate line.
