Final debate shown across Scotland

The final prime ministerial debate will be broadcast across Scotland despite a last-ditch bid by the Scottish National Party to have the live clash blocked.

The SNP had mounted a legal challenge to the debate at the Court of Session in Edinburgh, arguing that it should not be screened in Scotland if their party was not included.

But Judge Lady Smith dismissed their call on Wednesday.
