Mother in hospital court appearance

Part of a hospital is expected to be designated as a sheriff court for the first appearance by a mother accused of murdering her three children in Edinburgh.

Theresa Riggi, 46, was arrested and charged earlier this month in connection with the deaths of her eight-year-old twins Austin and Luke Riggi and their five-year-old sister Cecilia.

Their bodies were found in a town house in Edinburgh's Slateford Road following reports of an explosion on August 4.
