Salmond declines Megrahi invite

Scotland's First Minister has declined an invitation to support a pressure group which is campaigning for an inquiry into the conviction of the Lockerbie bomber.

The Justice For Megrahi Committee asked Alex Salmond to add his name to its call for an international inquiry into the controversial case.

The Scottish Government was also invited to hold an inquiry should an attempt for an international inquiry fail.
