Family escapes after shots fired

Five people, including two children, were lucky not to be hurt after shots were fired at their house, police have said.

Officers were called to the property in the Govan area of Glasgow at about 3.20am on Wednesday morning following reports that a gun had been fired at the front door.

The family of three adults and two children, aged seven and 11, were inside the Fairfield Place home at the time.
