Luxury hotel hit by air rifles raid

Air rifles have been stolen from a shooting lodge at a luxury hotel, police said.

The nine guns were taken from the grounds of Gleneagles in Auchterarder, Perthshire, on Saturday between 10.15am and 10.30am.

Police investigating the missing Weihrauch HW 100 rifles said they were keen to speak to two men seen in a black Mercedes car with damage to its doors.
