Police probe assault and abduction

A man was assaulted and abducted in broad daylight before being dumped in a business park, police said.

The 21-year-old was bundled into a silver "high-performance car" in the Barmulloch area of Glasgow and later left in Brittain Way, Eurocentral, Holytown.

He was assaulted and left with serious injuries at about 4.30pm on Friday, Strathclyde Police said.
