Gang links over attack on driver

An armed gang targeted a rival in a brutal road attack, it has emerged.

The victim of the violent assault in Glasgow was forced off the road and assaulted by six or seven men on Sunday night.

The man, named in newspaper reports as 26-year-old Bryan Hanlon, was said to have been a friend of murder victim Kevin Carroll who had links to organised crime.
