Ferry staff urged to learn Gaelic

A ferry company is encouraging its staff to learn Gaelic.

About 1,200 workers on Caledonian MacBrayne vessels, in ports, harbours and offices from Arran to Ullapool, are now able to learn Gaelic via a "toolkit" developed by the Isle of Skye-based online learning company Canan.

Some staff at NorthLink Ferries will also have access to the resource.
