Jewellery stolen in daylight attack

Armed robbers have stolen hundreds of thousands of pounds of jewellery from an elderly man during an attack in broad daylight.

The 68-year-old was said to have been left badly shaken as a result of the "disgraceful" assault in the Port Dundas area of Glasgow.

It is understood around £350,000 worth of goods was stolen.
