Susan Boyle to sing for Charles

Susan Boyle said it will be a "real privilege" to sing in front of the Prince of Wales after she missed out on the opportunity to perform in front of the Queen.

Boyle, 49, will perform her version of Lou Reed's Perfect Day for the Prince and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, at the Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards next Monday.

"It's going to be a real privilege to be performing before His Royal Highness the Prince Of Wales," she said. "It's going to be a great night. I can't wait to be there."
