Duffy ready for royal wedding poem

Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy has played down reports that she would not be writing a poem to commemorate the impending royal wedding.

The Sunday Telegraph stated her agent had indicated that Duffy did not want to record the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton next year in verse.

The holder of the prestigious post traditionally writes a poem for significant royal and national events.
