Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls has joined Labour's campaign for the Scottish election, telling voters it is a chance to tell the Westminster Government it is "getting it wrong".
He focused on opposing the Conservative-Liberal Democrat UK coalition, adding that First Minister Alex Salmond has not been a strong Scottish voice.
He also dismissed the SNP's policy for independence as "failed", repeating comparisons with the troubled economies of Ireland and Iceland. Instead, he said Scotland should remain part of a "strong" UK.
