An MSP has called for an inquiry after problems continue to plague a multi-million pound tourist attraction.
Sandra White said it was "ridiculous" the rotating tower at the Glasgow Science Centre had stopped working on a number of occasions in the last 10 years and was not open to tourists this year.
The centre said it was unlikely the structure, which opened in 2001 and cost £9 million to build, will open this year as they did not want to operate "something unreliable". During the latest breakdown, it has not operated since August last year.
