Work begins to move derailed train

Work to remove a derailed train which caused widespread disruption for commuters is under way following the conclusion of on-site investigations.

The train, which had no passengers on board, was travelling from Cowdenbeath to Edinburgh's Waverley station when it came off the tracks in Princes Street Gardens at around 6pm on Wednesday.

No one was injured but services to and from Waverley were affected.
